Three burglars broke into a West Bexar County home Sunday and were fought off by its owner — who happened to be a sheriff's deputy.

A store owner captured a video of a suspect wrestling with an officer and reaching for his gun multiple times. At one point, he broke free and fled a block away, where three officers met him with batons.
