Police: Driver who allegedly killed cop had at least 6 drinks

PHILADELPHIA — The man accused of killing a police officer while driving the wrong way on Interstate 95 early Sunday morning was drinking beer and vodka at a T.G.I. Friday's restaurant before the crash, police said Tuesday.

John Leck Jr. remains hospitalized in stable condition with injuries he suffered during the crash, which killed veteran Highway Patrol Officer Brian Lorenzo, 48, about 3:15 a.m. near the Cottman Avenue exit of I-95.
