Scott Reidy, Senior Instructor for the Sig Sauer Academy discusses what he terms the “strong-side-only reload” — some use terminology like ‘dominant / non-dominant hand’ instead of strong-side/support-side hand — which would come into play if your support-side hand is out of the fight due to injury or if you’re holding a ballistic shield.
