GLENDALE, Ariz. — Video that was formerly under review by investigators was released Friday of officers opening fire on an SUV as the 17-year-old driver speeds toward them.
Twelve shots were fired at the suspect’s vehicle in 3 seconds, though none hit the suspect, according to ABC15.
The officers, who were trying to pull the suspect over because his bumper was dragging, were justified in the shooting, according to police.
The driver is being charged as an adult with five counts of aggravated assault on an officer, two counts of criminal damage, and one count of possession of marijuana, according to the article.
