ARLINGTON, Texas — A Grand Prairie police SWAT officer was shot Thursday while serving a search warrant at the Forest Ridge Apartments in north Arlington, police said.

The officer "sustained non-life-threatening injuries," police officials stated on social media.

The call came in at 8:03 p.m. from the apartment complex in the 2900 block of Forest Hollow Lane, an Arlington dispatcher said.
