Corporal Beau Lamens began his career in law enforcement in June 2002 as a Reserve Deputy for the Benton County Sheriff’s Office. In July 2002 he was hired as a patrol officer with the City of Othello Police Department. Beau held specialty positions as a field-training officer and was assigned to the Moses Lake Regional Tactical Response Team as a tactical operator.
In August 2005 Beau laterally transferred to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office. He currently works as a first level supervisor in the patrol division. He also handles a Narcotics Detection Canine. Beau is also assigned to the Moses Lake Regional Tactical Response Team as a hostage negotiator.
