SALINAS, Calif. — A Salinas security guard was arrested this week after his actions allegedly amounted to impersonating a police officer.

Police said officers received several complaints that the guard, identified as Jacob Rogers, 21, was using a car equipped with a red light to stop and issue parking citations to residents of the Nantucket Bay Apartments on Nantucket Boulevard.
