NORTH PORT, Fla. — A 19-year-old North Port man was TASERed and arrested after he allegedly bit an officer on Thanksgiving.

According to a North Port police report, officers responded to a home on the 3700 block of Needle Terrace shortly after 2 p.m. Thursday after a passing motorist reported hearing a woman screaming from the garage. Outside the garage, the officers heard a woman say, 'Help me, I'm sorry,' followed by a muffled male voice and some heavy thumps, the report shows. The police attempted to talk to the pair via a PA system. The woman walked out but said no one else was inside and would not give any further information.
