The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office is currently accepting applications for the position of Resident Patrol Deputy for the community McDermitt, Nevada. McDermitt is a small ranching community approximately 70 miles north of Winnemucca.

Resident Deputies receive a $400.00 per month housing allowance as well as stand-by pay for off-duty hours. All sworn deputies receive $1500 per year uniform allowance and eleven paid holidays per year. County pays health insurance up to $500.00 per month. Deputies all have take home vehicles.

This is an open testing, but preference is being given to Nevada P.O.S.T. certified officers with at least two years of experience.
