The Lander County Sheriff's Office is currently accepting applications for the position of Detention Deputy All sworn deputies receive $1200 per year uniform allowance and eleven paid holidays per year. County pays employee health insurance. Deputies all have take home vehicles. This is an open testing, but preference is being given to Nevada P.O.S.T. certified officers.

Job Requirements |

|
Ability to pass stringent background investigation. Be in possession of a valid driver's license. Be a United States Citizen. Be eligible for Peace Officer Status as required by the Nevada Revised Statues.
