Job Description |
||
|
Develops and implements (through complex coordination with Amtrak and non-Amtrak stakeholders) CT, physical security, cyber security, red team, and intelligence operations investigations. Identifies best practices for CT, physical security, cyber security, red team, and intelligence operations investigations and makes recommendations for their implementation. Reports on and informs key leaders about investigation findings and recommendations. Provides accurate and timely oral and written reports as directed. Builds personal and professional relationships with diverse regional stakeholders to foster cooperation and synergy of effort regarding security and emergency response. Ensures compliance with federal, local, corporate, and industry laws, policies and requirements. Acts as force multiplier for Amtrak security, contingency, emergency, surveillance operations, and crime situations when so directed.

Must have an Associates degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in criminal justice, police science, public or business administration, business or information technology or an equivalent combination of work experience, training, and education. WORK EXPERIENCE: Must have extensive years of progressively responsible professional experience as a military special operations force member. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Experience in supervising and/or managing special operations teams. Experience in planning, resourcing, coordinating, and executing performance-oriented training. Experience in building collaborative partnerships with policing, commercial, emergency response, and operational stakeholders. Experience in performing liaison duties with allied or joint military headquarters. Knowledge of commercial security operations and security technologies (cameras, alarms, dogs, etc.) Holder of or eligible to receive federal secret security clearance. COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Skill in leading briefings and meetings and making presentations to individuals and groups. Skill in leading diverse organizations and personalities.

Job Requirements |

Candidates must be able to pass a physical fitness test requiring pushups, sit-ups, run, bench-press, agility run, and bend and reach (standard FLETC PT test), must be able to stand and walk for up to 8-hours while wearing tactical gear, must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in inclement weather. Must have full mental awareness and the ability to work long hours. Must be a graduate or be willing to attend a law enforcement academy.
