The City of Terrell is seeking applicants for participation in the Police Officer Civil Service Examination. Process includes civil service examination, physical fitness testing, polygraph, psychological evaluation, extensive background investigation, oral interview board, physical examination, drug screening, and interview with the Chief. Current salary is $36,943 to $51,979 after 6 years with lateral entry available to qualified applicants after probationary period. Benefits: medical insurance, 20-year retirement (TMRS @ 7% with 2 to 1 match), 120 hours vacation and sick leave annually, 11 paid holidays, all uniforms and equipment.
