Chicago police SUV, fire truck collide responding to fire

Two police officers were taken to a hospital with minor injuries; no firefighters were injured

CHICAGO — A Chicago Police Department squad car and a fire truck collided en route to a fire call Thursday.

WGN reported that two police officers were taken to a hospital with minor injuries for evaluation. They were treated and later released.

No firefighters were injured.
