Tip: Cold is coming...prepare now!

I know it's only September, but now is the time to get ready for winter! Go through all of your clothing, equipment, and outerwear. Do you need new boots? Are your long-sleeve uniform shirts a bit threadbare? Are your turtlenecks showing their age? Now is the time to order new gear – remember that everyone has to place orders around now, and this affects how long it takes your local cop retailer to deliver the goods. Stock up on those hand-warmers and thermal socks so that when the first cold day (or night) hits, you're ready!

Remember, for those of us in the snow-covered areas, they are predicting an even more brutal winter than the last one! Be ready!
