Oregon: Fugitive killed by police was convicted of burglary.

New York: Officer stops woman from killing self, child.

Utah: Tear gas ends police strange standoff.

Chattanooga: SWAT team member charged with domestic assault.

Georgia: A police-involved fatal shooting in DeKalb County on Monday evening brings the number killed in police shootings this year to 12.

Wisconsin: Taser-equipped police bot will clean up lawless Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Connecticut: A group charged with minimizing the use of deadly force by police officers has recommended adding a non-lethal weapon to police officers’ holsters: This Taser stun gun.

Rhode Island: Police identify man shot by officer.

Louisiana: Three Lake Charles city councilmen want a federal investigation of a fatal police shooting in which three officers reportedly wrestled a man to the ground and shot him in front of a middle school while students were arriving.

Maine: A Democratic activist who was arrested after he was spotted on a highway overpass dressed as Osama bin Laden and carrying what appeared to be an AK47 on Halloween faces additional charges for the stunt. The costume included a rubber mask, plastic dynamite and grenades, in addition to the toy assault rifle.

North Carolina: Sheriff addresses fatal shooting during “no knock” warrant service.

Connecticut: Murder suspect charged with trying to hire hit man to kill officer and witness.
