West Virginia: SWAT team prepares bus drivers for danger. School bus drivers deal with traffic, bad weather or misbehaving students almost every day, but Friday they had lessons designed to help them deal with situations that hopefully will only happen in their nightmares.

California: A woman of Iranian descent is suing the California Highway Patrol, alleging that an officer who stopped her for speeding accused her "people" of being responsible for the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Ohio: The city of Cleveland has agreed to pay $250,000 to settle the lawsuit of the family of a man who was fatally shot in his car by police about five rears ago.

Oregon: Detectives arrest suspect in stolen truck chase. Deputies said they fired two bean bag rounds and hit Powers in the neck. He then jumped from the roof and ran on foot, according to sheriff’s deputies.

California: SWAT team trains at Berkeley High campus.

Virginia: The father of a Fairfax County teenager who fatally shot two police officers outside a police station last year has been charged with helping his son obtain the guns used in the attack.
