Alabama: Police shooting: Wife tells of ongoing fight. But Latonya Jackson says her husband, Corey, never threatened her before he was shot. According to police, a second officer had gone to the back yard and told Corey Jackson to stop. Instead, police said, Jackson made a move for a handgun in his waistband. Latonya Jackson said she heard the officer in the back tell her husband, "'Get down.'" Then she heard gunfire, she said. "Corey took four bullets," she said. (Proof that going for a gun concealed in your waistband when confronting armed police officers can be hazardous to your health)
