Law Enforcement protective equipment NIJ survey
In support of the Law Enforcement Advanced Protection Program, the National Tactical Officers Association is supporting this National Institute of Justice project. Your input is valuable to ongoing research, standards and technology transfer efforts.
US Army Natick Soldier Research, Development & Engineering Center (NSRDEC) in Natick, MA is conducting three surveys. These surveys focus on three specific areas of personal protective equipment; the duty uniform, integrated head protection and chemical biological protection. The data collected from these surveys will be used to develop new standards for law enforcement personal protective equipment.
Through its National Protection Center, NRSDEC serves a broader customer base assessing technologies, concepts and standards with dual-use applications to meet military needs as well as those of Federal, State, Local and Tribal emergency response practioners. To better serve its affiliated customer base, NSRDEC seeks your opinions regarding various types of protective equipment. Please take each of the surveys listed below, answering each question carefully and completely.
The surveys consists of approximately 40-50 questions and should take between 15 and 20 minutes each to complete. Thank you for your time and input.
