Florida: Wheelchair-bound woman dies after being shocked with Taser 10 times.

Miami: Officer's killer was arrested 2 months after deportation.

Los Angeles: The adventures of Taser boy. The cops did the right thing.

Virginia: Chesapeake police shot a man who pulled a gun on them during a traffic stop. Around 10 Tuesday morning, the man was pulled over near the intersection of Military Highway and Baugher Avenue for having a false license plate.

California: Riverside County sheriff gets the job he wanted. After being fired in December, he decided to wait until 2010 to run. But this week he was voted in by county supervisors.

D.C.: One Officer, SUV Left Scene Of Fatal D.C. Police Shooting. Federal prosecutors assumed the lead role yesterday in the investigation into a D.C. police shooting that killed a 14-year-old youth, and more questions emerged about the conduct of the two off-duty officers involved, including why one left the scene. 

Washington D.C.: A 14 year old boy is shot to death by an off-duty D.C. police officer. The gun that the boy was alleged to have fired at the officer is missing. So, too, is the mini-bike that led the officer to pursue the boy. Questions, doubts and suspicions abound in the aftermath of this week's tragedy -- so city officials are right to call in federal authorities to lead the investigation.

Los Angeles: One Officer, SUV left scene of fatal D.C. police shooting. The 15-year-old O.C. boy had run away from his parents and was dashing through traffic, authorities said.

California: Police K-9 exercise pays off with pair of arrests. One man surrenders, another apprehended in building used for training.

Oregon: Police officer shot at by fellow officer.

Indiana: Fall leaves police officer badly hurt. Condition serious in Ohio hospital after 25-foot tumble through roof.
