Florida: The State Attorney's Office cleared a Charlotte County Sheriff's deputy this week of any criminal charges after he shot and killed a man in the line of duty in June.

Arizona: A Mesa police officer has resigned after investigators accused him of lying about a convicted prostitute he was dating, police said.
