Mississippi: A Hattiesburg police officer shot and killed a man early today after being held at gunpoint himself. “A struggle ensued,” Wynn said. “The officer was able to break away and fired a round. The officer was very fortunate. The officer used his training very well. He talked to the subject when he had a gun to his head.” (A prime example of “it ain’t over till it’s over”)
Florida: Deputy shot near Naples. Authorities are in search of gunman in non-fatal attack.

Canada: Three key witnesses to the Ipperwash SWAT standoff won't be testifying because they're dead. A fourth simply wants to remain anonymous.
Minnesota: SWAT-It does work!
