Texas: A man shot and killed a constable and injured a deputy responding to a domestic disturbance call Wednesday before officers killed him, authorities said.

Pennsylvania: Forest Hills Council Won't Go After Injured Officer's Settlement. However, the Council voted Tuesday to lower the pension payouts it earlier agreed to pay Limbacher and Sgt. Ed Hinchey, who was also shot in the line of duty.

Tennessee: With armed SWAT team members ringing the courtroom, two Roane County brothers accused in the fatal ambush of a sheriff's deputy and his ride-along friend were arraigned Wednesday in what is now a capital murder case.
