In this video, Milwaukee County House of Corrections Officers demonstrate how to use RIPP Restraints to move a cooperative but potentially dangerous prisoner from one room to another. This prisoner escort / transportation systems utilizes a Transport Belt that attaches handcuffs to a waist belt in conjunction with a tether that allows the prisoner to attached to a cell door prior to opening the door. Multiple Transport Belts and Tether configurations exists for different types of door and security levels. | |
