Ohio escapee found after he calls 911

ROSELAWN, Ohio One of two men who escaped from Summit Behavioral Healthcare in Roselawn was back in police custody early Saturday.

Jonathan Kirkendall, 30, of Athens County called 911 Saturday morning for treatment of a knee or leg injury after a fall, said a spokeswoman for the Hamilton post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Kirkendall was taken to University Hospital, where staff recognized him and called University of Cincinnati police. After being treated for minor injuries, Kirkendall was taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center. Kirkendall and Russell Lee Bravard were discovered missing at 6:25 a.m. Thursday during a routine check.

Bravard, 26, of Colerain Township, is still sought. He is 6 feet tall, 170 pounds, with brown hair, green eyes and a goatee. Those with information should contact the Highway Patrol at 513-863-4606.
