"Breathe life" into latent prints on cold surfaces

Submitted by:
Deputy Erick Thorson, Antrim Co. (MI) SO

When checking for latent prints on cold, smooth surfaces such as glass windows, try breathing on the surface before dusting it. This can be done very quickly and without the mess of print powder. Prints show up nicely and will become visible for further processing.
