NM raid nets 11 arrests, including police chief

In the early morning hours, Chief Angelo Vega was arrested on suspicion firearms and drug trafficking

Ninety-five years and a day after Pancho Villa's infamous invasion of U.S. soil, the village of Columbus was raided again.

Mayor Eddie Espinoza, Police Chief Angelo Vega, Trustee Blas Gutierrez and Gutierrez's wife, Gabby, were arrested early Thursday by agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms and the U.S. Marshal's Service.
