Multiple agencies converge for Atlanta gang sweep

ATLANTA, Ga. — Several units within the Atlanta Police Department collaborated Monday and Tuesday for a massive street sweep, resulting in 57 arrests.

Operation Gang Busters was executed by the Auto Theft Task Force, the Red Dog Unit, the Gangs and Guns Unit and the Zone Four Crime Suppression Team, Atlanta police Officer Eric Schwartz said.
 
Three weapons were recovered, along with 56 tabs of Ecstasy, 61 grams or marijuana and 1,082 grams of crack cocaine.
