NOVEMBER 21, 2013, 6:24 AM|Police are using a new tool, known as the GPS "cannon," to reduce dangerous high speed chases. The device is fired onto the back of the suspect's car, and allows police to track their location through real-time GPS information. CBS News' Jeff Pegues reports.
Dash cam footage captures the moment a Missouri Highway Patrol trooper is dragged during a traffic stop and is forced to shoot the driver, who was high on methamphetamine. Both the trooper and driver survived the incident.
