At IACP 2007 Phil Tanzini introduced the Rapid Containment Baton from Peacekeeper International. This durable expandable baton has a friction lock design and while in use will not colapse. Specialized end caps and holsters are also available for the Rapid Containment Baton. The RCB offers more than just one or two features. The RCB is an industry-changing product, which addresses serious issues that agencies are having with other batons. The RCB has been designed specifically with the weight in the striking area (distal half) of the baton instead of in the handle. Putting the weight in the periphery of an arc equates to more kinetic energy transfer or “Stopping Power”. Many agencies have agreed: You simply can't argue with physics!
At IACP 2007 Chris Telbert and Norm Davis introduced the latest in communications systems, the Supreme Pro Ear Muff and showcased the existing line of ballistic protection products. Both lines of products continue to encompass the need for mobility and comfort while maintaining safety and protection.
