 Dear P1 Member,

One of the many advantages of my job with PoliceOne is that I have the opportunity to meet so many terrific women in this profession. In this edition of Women's eNews, you'll be introduced to Special Agent Jean Kanokogi and Lead Police Officer Nancy Fatura. Jean is a trainer, a student and a martial artist who agreed to share some "practical, tactical" tips that anyone in this profession can use.

I'm also incredibly proud to share with you the heroic story of Tucson police officer Nancy Futura's 2011 encounter with a would-be cop killer and how Nancy tells her story to inspire others. I've also included Dave "JD Buck Savage" Smith's current reading list; take a look at the five books that our "Street Survival" senior instructor thinks every cop should be reading right now.

Let us know what you think of our newsletter, and in the meantime, stay safe!
