Dear Member,

PoliceOne Editorial Assistant Hayley Hudson is presently attending the Social Media, the Internet and Law Enforcement (SMiLE) Conference in Vancouver, Canada, where she is on assignment to collect tips and tricks for LEOs using social networking sites for investigations.

In the meantime, today we feature a column by SMILE Conference co-founder Lauri Stevens, which highlights the excellent social media investigative efforts by a police sergeant in Helsinki, Finland. We’ve also got an item from John Bowden that outlines some tips for the work you do in the interrogation room, and I round out the features with a new piece of technology that allows you to take your call spoofing to some pretty interesting new places.

PoliceOne Editor in Chief Doug Wyllie
