 Dear P1 Member,

Welcome back to the PoliceOne women's enewsletter!

I'm excited to share with you columns from two women I greatly admire. Police trainer and firearms enthusiast Val Van Brocklin shares her thoughts on the benefits of positive self talk while Sergeant Nancy Fatura tells us how to talk to our kids about police work without scaring heck out of them.

I'll share with you my thoughts on planning for retirement from the day you get hired, and Sergeant Fatura gives us a great tip on healthy decompression at the end of a shift.

Read, enjoy and share, and as always, stay safe!
