Police militarization and the Ethical Warrior
 Gunfighting skills: Situational awareness
 August 12, 2013
Dear PoliceOne Member,

The mainstream media has increasingly been making hay on the topic of "police militarization" in the United States. In part to counter the spread of misinformation, we'll be featuring a special series of articles on the topic by PoliceOne columnists such as Glenn French, Joanne Eldridge, Joel Shults, Dan Marcou, Dick Fairburn, Lance Eldridge, and others.

We begin with a column by Jack Hoban and Bruce Gourlie. Their combined experience in the United States military and Federal law enforcement is the foundation on which their book, The Ethical Warrior: Values, Morals and Ethics For Life, Work and Service, and their regularly occurring PoliceOne column of the same name, are built.

If you'd like to have your opinion on the topic included in a PoliceOne special feature, please send me an email.
