Editor's Note:

In observance of Memorial Day, PoliceOne will not be sending a member newsletter on Monday. Since 1776, more than one million American soldiers have died in combat. We pray for the families of the fallen and thank the American soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines who continue to risk everything in service to our country.

As a result, we learn little tricks to keep ourselves out of trouble, like grabbing the microphone on your portable and talking to your imaginary backup ... Full column
