In the wake of increased ambushes on police officers, a Georgia state senator is pushing for legislation to make it easier to track and catch accused cop killers.

The 'Blue Alert' system is slowly being proposed in states across the nation (Texas, Florida, and Oklahoma have already enacted similar legislation), and would broadcast a message alerting the public of wanted criminals who have killed or wounded on-duty officers.
