After a careful investigation, a transient was arrested on charges of planning to kill multiple sheriff's deputies. Michael McConnachie had guns, ammunition, and body armor stored in his motel room.

The man is jailed on charges for conspiracy to commit assault. A Snohomish County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman said, "Given what happened in Seattle and Lakewood, we're paying close attention to these kinds of threats" ... An ambush avoided
