In its coverage of a SWAT standoff in Wisconsin, the Associated Press ignored the real story and instead focused on the "pop-culture" status of Sarah Palin’s daughter. In fact, Dane County SWAT did an excellent job of slowing things down, establishing communications, and peacefully ending a standoff with an armed and dangerous man.
