Dear P1 Member,

In this month's SWAT eNews, we're featuring three of our top writer's unique take on a single theme which came to light during a meeting I recently attended with SWAT trainers. A lively debate sprung from a seemingly innocent question: What do you look for in an officer who wants to join your SWAT team?

It became quickly apparent from the conversation that there are as many opinions on that question as there are people to address it, so this month, I asked longtime SWAT veterans Dan Marcou and Dan Danaher, as well as the non-SWAT guy in Tim Dees to kick the idea around. Check out all three columns, and sound off in the comments beneath each.
