Prior to 1991, Grafix Shoppe was a small Minneapolis-based sign shop specializing in vehicle graphics, including those for law enforcement. In 1991 the world of police car graphics changed forever with the introduction of the new-body-style Caprice. The new body almost forced departments to change graphics as many of their old decals and striping literally didn’t fit the new car. Many departments clamored for updated graphics to improve the looks of the car. Grafix Shoppe answered this call by developing a line of contemporary graphic designs which allowed even the smallest departments to have a custom, up-to-date look for a moderate price. The rest, as they say, is history. We’ve served over 1500 law enforcement agencies nationwide and our “kit” approach to graphics has become the industry standard. Our customers have won industry contests dozens of times. New challenges await in 2010 and 2011 when new law enforcement body styles will be introduced. Count on Grafix Shoppe to be the first with exciting new designs for these cars!
