U.S. marshal shot while serving warrant
Suspect considered dangerous
COLUMBUS, Ohio — SWAT teams are searching for the gunman who shot a U.S. marshal deputy Thursday evening.
Officials said the shooting occurred at an apartment complex in the area of Yorkland and McNaughten roads at about 7:30 p.m., NBC 4 reported.
U.S. Marshals said they were looking to arrest Alexander L. Hopkins, 27, on a parole violation out of Cincinnati. When they pulled up to the home, authorities said, Hopkins, who was riding in a rental car, started firing, NBC 4's Tacoma Newsome reported.
