Four departments join car chase
[Choctaw, OK]

PoliceOne Staff Report
(CHOCTAW, Okla.) -- Police officers from three local departments and sheriff's deputies joined in a six-mile chase that ended when the driver ran a roadblock and hit a sheriff's cruiser.

The Oklahoman reported that no one was hurt during the pursuit. Michael Chichin, 31, of Choctaw was arrested Saturday night and was being held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

The newspaper said that police attempted to stop Chichin after an off-duty sheriff's officer spotted him swerving from side to side of the road.

Officers from Nicoma Park, Choctaw and Harrah and other Oklahoma County deputies became involved in the chase when the driver refused to pull over.

Chichin allegedly struck the front end of a marked squad car, doing minor damage.
