(BALTIMORE) -- The Baltimore Ravens have brushed aside everything in their path during the past few months en route to a berth in the Super Bowl and that did not stop Monday as they headed to Tampa to play the game.
A bus headed to the airport Monday with members of the team on board sideswiped a police car Monday, although no injuries were reported. The car had to be towed away.
Following a sendoff rally at Baltimore's Inner Harbor, players boarded buses for the trip to the airport and their flight to Tampa, where they will meet the New York Giants in the Super Bowl next Sunday.
One bus moved from the center lane on an interstate highway into the left lane, where an accompanying police car was traveling. The car was forced into the center median and was briefly wedged between the median and the bus before coming to a halt -- minus one hubcap and with considerable damage to the vehicle's framework.
