El Cajan, Ca. - Three weeks ago shots erupted at Santana High School just outside of San Diego. Now, another shooting has occurred in the San Diego area - this time at Granite High School in the same school district as Santana.
At 12:54PM, the 18 year old suspect positioned himself in Sniper position outside of the school and started firing on Granite High School students. He injured at least 10 people, 7 of which had gunshot wounds. None of the injuries were life threatening as the shooter was supposedly using buckshots. The shooter, an 18 year old with a shaved head, was shot by Police in the buttocks and face. The shooter had apparently had graduated from the high school the previous year.
Campus police officer Rich Agundez Jr., who was presenting to students at the school, heard the gunfire and began to exchange gunfire with the shooter, preventing the shooter from entering the school.
