Member Submission

Assembly bill AB 838, if signed by the California Governor, will provide any law enforcement officer in the State of California to either start or finish his college degree by providing $1500 a year for tuition. The program will be administered by the Calif. Dept. of Justice, and is called the California Law Enforcement Education Program (Cal-LEEP). It has wide bi-partisan support.
