Deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences

Member Submission

On behalf of the International Association of Women Police, I wish to express our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences for the horrific loss of life caused by the attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.

Our membership, with members world wide, feel a collective sense of overwhelming grief for the tremendous and senseless loss of so many lives. Among those lost are some of our own brothers and sisters in law enforcement. These courageous and dedicated police officers, firefighters, and military personnel died protecting our citizens and communites. They shall be held in our thoughts and prayers during this time of great sadness.

As a nation we have proven that we can come together and will work together to overcome this tragedy. I am confident that our leaders will do all that is necessary to bring these cowardly thugs to justice.

Be safe, be diligent, and most of all, do not allow fear to prevent you from enjoying all that life has to offer you and your families. Make each day count!

Sincerely,

Terrie Swann, President
