Video: Cops vs. firefighters in cagefighting contest

Proceeds from the event went to the Xtreme Cage Wars Foundation

BALTIMORE — Cops and firefighters squared off Friday in Baltimore in a cagefighting contest — but it was all in a good cause.

Members of the city's police and fire departments took part in 18 bouts at the Method Mixed Martial Arts Gym in Forest Hill, with proceeds going to the Xtreme Cage Wars Foundation.

The non-profit organization helps fallen or injured firefighters and police officers.

Among the highlights of Friday's event was the dramatic entrance of Detective Julian Min, who was rolled out in a glittery suit while standing inside an enormous Chinese food container, according to The Baltimore Sun.
