Two officers put their own lives in jeopardy
DETROIT — Two Detroit police officers put their own lives in jeopardy to save a man who drove onto shaky ice in the Detroit River.
It apparently was no accident. We’re told the 31-year-old Detroit man plowed through a barrier in a suicide attempt at Erma Henderson Park on the city’s east side.
The officers went out on the ice to pull him to safety and took him to get help.
