Law Enforcement Job Fair
SATURDAY, MAY 4, 2002 Colorado Springs
DENVER, CO -- The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) and theColorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) will host a Law EnforcementJob Fair on Saturday, May 4th for persons wishing to learn more aboutbecoming a member of Colorado's leading law enforcement organizations,Colonel Lonnie J. Westphal, Chief of the CSP, announced today.
The CSP and CSPD Law Enforcement Job Fair will host representatives fromlocal, county and state law enforcement agencies to discuss current jobopenings, applications, testing, future recruiting, as well as to answer questions about careers in law enforcement.The job fair will be held at the Oracle Corporation, 12320 Oracle Blvd.,
Colorado Springs between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
"The Law Enforcement Job Fair is being hosted by the Patrol for personsinterested in becoming a State Trooper or a Communications Officer, aswell as for other city and county law enforcement agencies," saysColonel Westphal.
"Troopers and officers from other agencies will be onhand to answer questions and provide information."
Applications for the Colorado State Patrol (CSP) Cadet classes, whichare conducted twice a year, can be obtained by calling CSP's RecruitingOfficers Troopers Maurice Harris (719.635.0385) and Shawn Dominguez (303.239.4532) and or by stopping by any of the 25 CSP District or TroopOffices.
