Video: Suspect in Mustang flees police

Spike strips punctured the tires

ROWLETT, Texas — A lengthy police chase ended without incident on a bridge over Texas' Lake Ray Hubbard on Tuesday afternoon. Timothy Barber, 23, allegedly fled an attempted traffic stop for speeding east of Greenville in Hunt County.

State troopers deployed spike strips, ripping the rubber tires from the vehicle. For the next half hour, the driver of the silver Mustang continued along Interstate 30 on only four rims before exiting at Dalrock and driving through a residential neighborhood in Rowlett.
