Police use rap video to promote new top job in UK

Authority uses song to promote elections

Norfolk Evening News

NORFOLK, England — Norfolk Police Authority has released a ‘rap’ video in an attempt to promote the forthcoming election for the role of police and crime commissioner.

The video, starring writer and broadcaster Keith Skipper as ‘Duzzy Raskel’, is an attempt to reach more people ahead of the election on Thursday, November 15. It has been made in association with the Norfolk Police Authority (NPA).

“It’s a serious subject but we feel a lighter touch with that distinctive Norfolk flavour helps get the message across,” says Keith. “I’ve never done anything like this before ... something I have in common with most candidates and voters on November 15.”
